- Adult Sailor (£40 per year)
An adult over 18 years who would like to take part in Sailability events.- Family Sailor (£60 per year)
A family who would like to take part in Sailability events who have at least one member of the family residing at the same address with a disability.- Volunteer (£5 per year)
An adult, young person or career who is willing to volunteer at least 3 times a year at Sailability events either on or off the water.- Support Adult – £80 (per year)
An adult who wants to support the charity and take part in Sailability events- Support Family £125 (per year)
A family of two or more, not supporting a family sailor member, who want to support the charity and take part in Sailability events.
Membership




There are 7 categories of membership. Adult Sailor, Family Sailor, Volunteer, Support Adult, Support Family, Temporary, Corporate.
If you want to sail with us, you will need to become a member so that you are covered by Rye Harbour Sailability public liability insurance.
A ‘sailor’ is categorized as a person who has a disability.
Rye Harbour Sailability is a Group member of Rye Harbour Sailing Club, as such, if you want to, you will be able to attend events at the sailing club but must abide by the club rules if you do so.
Temporary
The first try sailing session is free after which there is a charge of £10 for one more sail. If you then join Rye Harbour Sailability (RHS) £10 will be deducted from your joining fee. Temporary membership expires after 2 months or after a second sail. After that time if you would still like to sail with Rye Harbour Sailability (RHS) you will need to become a full member. By signing the membership form you are covered by Rye Harbour Sailability (RHS) public liability insurance. If you are sailing for the first time you will need to complete and sign a Booking Form which has reference to our terms and conditions.
