Aviva Community Fund Supports Rye Harbour Sailability

We learnt about the Aviva Community Fund from a Fundraising Website. The Aviva Community Fund celebrates and supports charities doing great work all around the UK. Each Aviva employee is given the chance to donate £25 to one of the many good causes put forward on the company website.

We submitted our profile with photographs showing who we are and what we do. We would like to thank Aviva representatives for their willingness in helping us to get this right.

The sum of £700, which we raised, was modest in comparison to the amounts some of the other charities raised, but we were delighted to add this sum to our funds.

For those employees who voted for us, with some lovely encouraging comments, we would like to say a big thank you. Comments such as, “What a great cause! Glad to see sports such as this one on offer. Enjoy!” NSF “Building confidence.” PB. “I have a great love of sailing and my partner used to compete at National Level. This is a great project.” AL. “Thanks for all your hard work.” SL. “What an excellent cause. Good Luck!” PC.
